Caro Bridal Show
Held the second Sunday in January. Town & Country Bridal hosts this classy event providing wedding vendors an opportunity to showcase and promote their business to potential brides and grooms throughout the Thumb. A fashion show is filled with stylish attire for not only the bride, but for the groom, the bridal party, mothers of the bride and groom, flower girls, and ring bearers.
Caro Citizen and Junior Citizen of the Year Dinner and Dance
Held near the end of February. The Caro Chamber of Commerce invites the entire community to join in honoring three outstanding individuals - The Citizen of the Year, the Junior Citizen of the Year, and the Merit Award Winner - whose contributions to the community of Caro merit recognition. Local area businesses provide exquisite tabletops which are then offered as door prizes to the guests.
Cars and Crafts Weekend
Held the first weekend in June. Wander through the rows and rows of crafters and flea marketers on Friday and Saturday and marvel at the classic and restored cars on Saturday for the Car Show. A variety of concessionaries offer up such festival-type fare such as elephant ears, kettle corn, fresh-squeezed lemonade, and bratwursts.
Downtown Sidewalk Sales
Held in July. Save, save, save as the downtown merchants join together to offer their goods at prices that can't compare! Start your back-to-school shopping early! Come to downtown Caro to shop and save!
Tuscola County Fair
Held in July. Bring your entire family out to the Tuscola County Fairgrounds to enjoy rides, concessions, games, animals, and the Merchant's Building. The Grand Stand hosts entertainment nightly to please everyone. Old-fashioned family fun at its finest!
Old Engine and Tractor Show
Held the second weekend in August. Visit the Fairgrounds to see the old tractors and engines while browsing through the craft and flea market vendor booths. Fill up on old-fashioned concessions while you are there!
Chamber Road Rally
Held in the fall. Pack your vehicle with passengers, put on your thinking caps and follow the clues to area businesses to obtain the coveted items offered. Join the crowd later for dinner and prizes galore. Not only is this a fun-filled event, but it also offers an opportunity to visit area businesses.
Tuscola County Pumpkin Festival
Held the first full weekend in October (Wednesday through Sunday). Wednesday opens the festivities with the Annual Lip Sync Contest and follows up with tons of activities including the Grand Parade on Sunday. Something for everyone, young and old.
